  • And many more trading-related data sources

Elfa ingests large volumes of conversation and activity across these platforms, identifies the exact tokens and projects that each post refers to, extracts any relevant key insights towards each token, then transforms them into real‑time insights.

  1. What does "Mindshare" represent?

It represents real-time mentions of the specified token amongst the global crypto community. within a time period.

For example, if ETH has a 10% mindshare on the 1H leaderboard, this means that 10% of all token mentions in the past 1 hour was about ETH.

We opted for an objective clean way of calculating the data so that:

1. It is not a black box of opinionated calculations.

2. You can build on this data in any way that you see fit.

  1. What happens if a person tries to game the leaderboard by mentioning a token multiple times in a short period?

We have anti-sybil measures in place. Spam ticker mentions contribute exponentially less towards mindshare data. This prevents a single user from mentioning a single ticker multiple times to artificially inflate its mindshare.

"CT" refers to people who are in the Crypto Twitter circle but not necessarily consistently posting insightful analysis.
